Medium actively shuts down gender critical articles, and it has done for a long time.

Wonderfully clear article by Sarah Phillimore. I simply cannot understand just how we got here, it's a kind of madness that seems to believe that one can make the world according to one's desire simply by saying it's so, using words as Humpty Dumpty used them. A form of solipsism in some ways. It's a denial of biology, a distortion of language and it's clearly an expression of misogyny.  As for the mistreatment of "gender dysphoria" in children, it seems to me sheer malpractice, albeit carried out (at best) with good intentions, and a wanton abandonment of that hallowed medical principle, 'First do no harm'.

The Spectator UK article called: the remarkable tactics of trans lobbyists'. By James Kirkup (Researcher/Writer/Politics and Policy). I Provided a link in previous comment which hasn't been posted by moderators, have therefore left it out. Should be able to google it.

The summary of article is as follows:

A major international law firm has helped write a lobbying manual for people who want to change the law to prevent parents having the final say about significant changes in the status of their own children. That manual advises those lobbying for that change to hide their plans behind a 'veil' and to make sure that neither the media nor the wider public know much about the changes affecting children that they are seeking to make. Because if the public find out about those changes, they might well object to them.

This goes some way to explaining how the lobby has, in record time,  influenced every aspect of policy worldwide, without input from all those affected in having an honest debate and put forward suggestions, that in effect removes the right to question.

It is the lobby and those that are influenced by it that either shut down discussion by calling everything hate speech. Many transgender people do not prescribe to the lobby's strict controls, and agree that it is misogynistic but are too afraid to speak out.
