The Labour Party (UK)
Just to try and kick things off a bit I thought I'd start a thread on the Labour Party. Is there any chance of decoupling them from the woke crowd? What are people's thoughts on Keir Starmer as leader?
I think KS is trying to work out how to navigate the tangled mess he took on. He’s clearly methodical & a details sort of person, but I think the hole he’s trying to pull them out of might prove too big a challenge.
This will be an interesting test of his leadership. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8466695/Labour-frontbencher-Lloyd-Russell-Moyle-accuses-JK-Rowling-exploiting-sexual-assault-ordeal.html
He has said he accepts Rancid-Moles apology (which wasn't sent to JK Rowling) and wont be pressing the matter further.
I don't think he'll want any controversial battles, he'll avoid any woke issues and will dance around it, no doubt anything Liz Truss brings before the house will be free vote, he'll keep the whips on a tight leash
