Conatus News spoke with Asmi Fathelbab, a former employee of Linda Sarsour, who alleges that Sarsour allowed her to be sexually abused in the office, and had her fired from later jobs.
Last night, allegations surfaced of Linda Sarsour enabling the sexual assault of her former employee at the Arab American Association, Asmi Fathelbab, back in 2009.
Fathelbab told The Daily Caller that a man in the office, Majed Seif, would “Pin me against the wall and rub his crotch against me.”
The Daily Caller also reported that one of Seif’s alleged “favourite pastimes” was sneaking up on Fathelbab with a full erection.
Fathelbab told Conatus News that Sarsour allowed the sexual abuse to continue by ignoring her complaints about it.
“She would say that I was overreacting because something like this didn’t happen to someone who looks like me. That it was not important. That he had the right to sue me for false claims. That he had the right to be anywhere in the building that he wanted. Even joked once that it’s not like he got me the job to begin with.”
She said, “She was never in the same room, but sometimes on the same floor, down the hall from each other.”
Fathelbab told the Daily Caller that she would scream at the top of her lungs during the assaults. She told Conatus News that Sarsour heard the screams.
“Oh, she heard me! She heard me and she kind of lost it one day because I apparently interrupted a very important news interview she was having in her office, because they heard me screaming and wanted to know what happened.”
Fathelbab said that after completing her Americorp contract with the Arab American Association, Sarsour had her fired from later jobs.
Fathelbab told Conatus News that Sarsour had her fired from a temporary job at New York Presbyterian Hospital in 2014. She said that Rami Nusier, a man who she says is Sarsour’s best friend, showed up at the hospital a few days before she was scheduled to begin working there full time as a front desk clerk.
Fathelbab said that Nusier was having lunch with another employee at the hospital, who he apparently knew.
After this, the night before Fathelbab was to begin her full-time position, Fathelbab got home and saw that she had a voice message from the temporary job agency saying that she was no longer allowed on the premises. She said, “I I didn’t know what that meant, I had no idea what that was, so I tried calling back, but they had closed for the day. I called them back in the morning, and the first thing I heard was, ‘What did you do?’ and I said “Nothing, I don’t know what’s going on?”
Fathelbab said, ‘I believe that he spoke to Linda, and had her call them [the hospital employers].’
Fathelbab also claims that Sarsour helped get her fired from the Mark Murphy campaign for Congress in New York’s 11th Congressional District, which she worked for back in 2012.
‘She [Sarsour] told him that if he wanted to win he had to fire me because I’m the most hated woman in the Muslim community in NYC.’
Sarsour did not respond to Conatus News’ request for a comment in time for the publication of this article.

When you show me empirical evidence that God is a solid, living, functional being/life-form then I'll believe the Qur'an is the "perfect word of God". Until then it's another religious book created by a human who claimed to be a prophet just as the Torah and the Bible are! FYI, what's written in part in the Qur'an is also written in ancient scriptures written THOUSANDS OF YEARS before Mohammad existed, the same scriptures founding the bases of Judism and Christianity. Theology, you really need to study it some time!

Not getting the job is one thing but being told you are no longer allowed on the premises? This woman needs to get her life together and seek a shrink asap!

Ms Sarsour has not "refuted" the allegations against her. She has rejected them.
How do you get past all the stuff about hating/killing Jews and nonbelievers though? The antisemitism is dripping from every page, as is Muslim supremacy. It's a totalitarian political philosophy at best.

Go figure. Palestinians are the most partizan people and they will do what ever it takes to protect the utter they milk. And Linda Sarsour is very popular among Palestinians. Asmi Fathelbab is a very brave woman. However, it is incumbent on the FBI and the NYCPD to provide her with security details around the clock to protect her from Palestinian gangs and terrorists. On a differentg topic, it is so ironic that all these programs that funded Linda Sarsour political activities against America were being funded by Obama, well I meant the American tax payers.

The Quran contradicts itself a lot. It can be argued that certain aspects of it, such as parts about male/female relations, are to be kept in their time context. Muslims interpret the Quran in a variety of different ways.

Are not the apparent conflicts resolved by the doctrine of abrogation, whereby for example the frequently quoted "No compulsion in religion" verse is rendered null and void by subsequent verses directing Muslims to subjugate the world and destroy all other beliefs?

Many argue that the "nonbelievers" are a specific evil group of people in Mecca, and therefore it's not about non-Muslims today, so the Quran should be seen as being about good verses evil.

She calls herself a Muslim and she lets men and women work together (in addition to showing her face to the world)? Maybe it's taqiyya or tawriyah or some other form of war-is-deceit.

Many Muslim women and men work together. Islam has as much variety of belief as any other religion.
Marc, the Qur'an is very clear that men should lower their gaze when they come across women who are not related to you. Qur'an is a perfect word of God. People have different interpretations of Islam but that is not Islam having variety of beliefs, that is Muslims having variety of beliefs which sometimes contradict Islam. At the end of the day, you cannot deny the Qur'an, which is the perfect word of God.
